How to Play
Explore the complete Periodic Table of Elements or use the practice modes to test how well you know element numbers, symbols, names, groups, and chemical families.
Element Info: click any element. The communication panel shows its atomic number, symbol, name, atomic mass, group/family, and period.
Find Atomic Number, Find Symbol, and Find Name: read the question in the communication panel, then click the matching element.
Groups Practice: follow prompts such as βClick any element in Group 17β or βClick any noble gas.β Any element that correctly belongs to the requested group or family is accepted.
Answer feedback: a correct choice turns the communication panel green and plays a short happy sound. A wrong choice turns it red and plays the wrong-answer sound. Use the speaker button to turn sounds on or off.
Reading the table: each element card shows atomic number, symbol, name, and atomic mass. Hover over a card for additional element information.
Scrolling: the element cards are taller for easier reading. Scroll up or down inside the center table area to see the full table. The lanthanoids and actinoids are shown in two separate rows below the main table, as they are on many standard periodic tables.
Controls: use New Question for another prompt and Reset to clear the score and viewed-element count.
Atomic masses shown in brackets indicate elements for which periodic tables commonly list a mass number for a representative isotope rather than a standard atomic weight.
