Set player names and computer players before starting.
Ludo Rules
This version uses a simple common family Ludo rule set.
How to Play
Set player names/computer players, then press Start Game. Player setup is locked while that game is active.
Human players press the Dice button to roll. Computer players roll automatically.
Roll a 6 to move a token from the base to the start square.
Click the token you want to move. It will highlight gold.
Count the dice number yourself, then click the square where the token should land.
Capture a single enemy token by landing on it.
Two or more same-color tokens may share a track square, including their own starting square. They form a blockade.
Opponents cannot land on or pass through a blockade. A token may not stop early before a blockade; it must complete the full dice roll or stay where it is. Moving one token away opens the blockade when fewer than two remain.
Bring all 4 tokens to home to win.
Stop Game pauses the current game. Start Game resumes it. New Game resets the board, unlocks player setup, and waits for Start Game.
Any player color can be set to Computer. Up to 3 computer players are allowed, so at least 1 human player always remains.
Common Rules Used
Each player has 4 tokens.
Only the four start fields are safe star fields.
Roll a 6 to start a token. Select a token in the base, then click its correct starting square.
A correct destination flashes gold. A wrong destination flashes red and you count again.
A 6 gives another roll.
Move by the dice number after a token is on the track.
A 6 may place a second same-color token on your starting square. The two tokens then form a blockade.
Two or more same-color tokens on the same track square form a blockade. Opponents cannot land on or pass through it. If a full dice move is blocked, that token stays on its original square.
Your own tokens may move away from or through your own blockade. The blockade ends when fewer than two same-color tokens remain on that square.
If one token is blocked but another token can use the full dice roll, choose the other token. If no token can legally use the roll, the turn passes automatically.
Landing on a single opponent token captures it and sends it back to its base. A blockade cannot be captured as a single token.
Tokens need an exact roll to reach the final home spot.
The first player to bring all 4 tokens home wins.
Player setup: Check Computer beside a name to make that color computer-controlled. Computer names are assigned automatically as Computer#1, Computer#2, and Computer#3. Computer turns visibly select a token and count each traveled square in neutral gray so players can follow the move.
